Merging PDFs keeps page streams; it does not restyle them

The merge tool concatenates page trees in the order you set. Fonts and images already in each file come along. It does not unlock a password-protected file you cannot open, and it does not flatten signatures into a legal original.

Order, size, and privacy

Drop files in the sequence you want the output to read. A 200-page merge of scanned images will be large. If a portal cap is 2 MB, compress the result in a dedicated PDF compressor. Toolioz does not publish one. When the page is labelled local processing, file bytes are not uploaded to Toolioz. Analytics requests for the website still occur.

Need only some pages of a statement? Merge is the wrong job; extract a range in a desktop reader first. Form fields and some annotations can behave oddly after merge. Digital signatures on source files generally become invalid after any rewrite.

Worked examples

    Merge resume, ID, and certificates in that order. If the portal wants one PDF under 2 MB, compression is a second step in another program, not a different merge.
